Lions District Governor Jerry Blackburn

• Our newly elected Lions District Governor Jerry Blackburn will make his first visit to our club. He will address issues relating to membership, retention and upcoming Lions events. ( Food Bank Day)

John Weddleton

• John is a member of the Anchorage Plannning and Zoning Commission. He has prepared a special Power Point presentation for us to show how and why government works, and why we need government. John is guaranteed to give us an informative and entertaining presentation. As owner of Bosco's Comics and Entertaiment, he is interested in helping our with the Halloween Great Pumpkin Fest.

Michelle Cassano

• Lion Michelle is the Executive Director of the American Diabetes Assocaition of Alaska.

Friday, September 18, Noon

(Social Hour)

• No speaker. This will be a time to share a meal and the company of others.

Audun Mikkelson

• Audun Mikkelson, Executive Director of the Boy Scouts of America and his assistant, Jessica, will give us a presentation about their organization.

• Joint Sight Meeting at the Spenard Lions Club House, 2108 Roosevelt Drive, Anchorage. Start 5:30 PM.

• 2009 USA/ Canada Forum, Memphis, Tennesee

Monday, September 28

• Anchorage Lions Board Meeting at 5:30 PM at the Westmark Hotel.
