Kirk Garoutte

* Kirk runs Susitna Energy Systems, providing Solar, Wind and Hydro powering systems for remote cabins. He also offers satellite and wireless communications in remote locations. You may have seen his large display at the State Fair. He and his wife also provide a checkpoint for winter wilderness races on Flathorn Lake, and he flies support in his aircraft. Kirk has twice evacuated me when I bailed on the 100 mile Susitna race - in February- during years past. Tight squeeze for me and my bike in the plane (Bjarne).
