* The Alaska Ride for Life has been moved to earlier in the season, looking for better weather and less traffic on the road. There will be a new exciting format. The Fireweed 400 bicycle races follow a few weeks later. Larry and George will get us revved up and let us know how we can support these exciting and valuable community events. |

| June 23-24 | * Alaska Ride for Life, fund raiser to detect and treat cancer. Two day cycling event from Anchorage to Seward. Our Lions organize and staff several of the aide stations along the ride. |
