* Lion Bjarne will give a presentation on the Student Ambassador Program, to show slides from a trip with high school students in 1990 to Moscow, Magnetogorsk and Leningrad in the old Soviet Union. ( Food Bank Day)

* Lion Craig will show a video from the 2012 Busan International Lions Convention in South Korea.

Zone 3 Meeting

* Zone 3 gathering for the Anchorage Lions, the Polynesian Lions, the Alaska State Sno-x Lions, the Latino Lions and the Mt McKinley Lions Clubs. Meet your fellow lions in Zone 3 and find out about their activities. The Multiple District Convention is next week in Fairbanks.

No Meeting

* Several of our members will be attending the Multiple District Convention at the Wedgewood Inn in Fairbanks, so no separate Anchorage lunch meeting this Friday.

Friday, April 5 * Spaghetti fund raiser at the Day Break Adult Services Center. $10/person. 5:00 to 7:00 PM. 9210 Jupiter Drive, just off Abbott Road. This will allow us to familiarize ourselves with the facilities so we can get ready for the Polynesian Lions Club Charter Night the following week.
Saturday, April 13 * Charter evening for the new Polynesian Lions Club that our club is helping to sponsor. Location: Day Break Adult Services Center.

Saturday, April 20

* Food Distribution Joint Project with Latinos Lions Club 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Hispanic Cultural Center 4233 Mt. View Drive.

Monday, April 22

* Joint Sight Meeting at the Spenard Lions Club House, 2108 Roosevelt Drive, Anchorage. Start 5:30 PM.

April 24-27

* 2013 MD49 Convention / 4th Cabinet Meeting & 4th Council Wedgewood Inn, Fairbanks, AK.

Monday, April 29

* Anchorage Lions Board Meeting at 5:30 PM, Denny's Restaurant, Benson Blvd & Denali Street.
