Jim Hale

* Jim is the son of Dr. George Hale, an iconic Lion's Club figure of the last century. He lives in Colorado now, but remembers many Lion's Club meetings with his Dad over the years. He has written a book entitled "An Alaskan Life of High Adventure." It chronicles some of his Dad's life in the territorial days with many stories of earthquakes, avalanches, plane crashes, moose and bear incidents. Jim later became a mountain guide and led the 1976 Denali Hanglider expedition. I have a powerpoint slide show of that expedition. He am a pastor now, still guiding but in a different way.
