November 10	Chief Robert Heume	Chief Robert Heume of the Anchorage Police Department will discuss concerns about safety in the city. Your chance to ask whether we really care about arresting smokers in bars and enforcing seat belt laws when gangs rule our streets.
November 17	Lion John Dunham	Lion John's year in Barrow, Alaska, what he learned, and the Boston connection.

Date	Activity
November 3	Bring Canned Goods Collection for Food Bank to our lunch meeting. Alternatively, you can bring a $10 check made out to the Anchorage Lions Club Charitable Account (tax deductible). Our Club will the turn around and write a check to the Food Bank of Alaska. Each $10 check pays for a whole turkey. Thank you Lions - $120 raised for 12 turkeys, and we collected 57 pounds of caned food!!!!!!
November 16-18	Mid-Winter Kodiak Meeting
November 18	Food Distribution Joint Project with Latinos Lions Club 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Hispanic Cultural Center 4233 Mt. View Drive.
November 20	Joint Sight Meeting.
November 27	Anchorage Lions Board Meeting at 5:30 PM at the Westmark Hotel.
