August 17	Paul Joslin and Penelope Wells	Paul Joslin and Penelope Wells of the "Save Maggie" group will explain their plan and efforts to ship the Anchorage Zoo's elephant Outside on a one way ticket. Hear why they think they can decide the future of someone else's animal. Maybe they will tell us how much money they've raised to buy Maggie from the zoo. ******************************************
August 24	Lee Clune	Lee is the Executive Director of the Alaska Mineral & Energy Resource Education Fund (AMEREF). Hi organization provides rock, mineral and other science and resource development kits for science teachers in our schools. ******************************************
August 31	Tom Nelson	Tom Nelson is a planner with the Municipality of Anchorage, who will discuss the progress achieved on the Title 21 masterplan for the City. ******************************************

August 27	• Anchorage Lions Board Meeting at 5:30 PM at the Westmark Hotel.
August 28	• The Anchorage Lions will man the Vision Screening Booth at the State Fair from 4 until 8 PM.
