February 2	Jason Brune	• Jason Brune of the Resource Development Council will talk about whales in Cook Inlet.
February 9	Bjarne & Robin Holm	• Bjarne and Robin will share images of their trip to New Zealand. This will be the second installment, now moving to the South Island, with its tall mountains, glaciers and spectacular wildlife. You will see penguins, different varieties of albatross birds, some with wing spans of 11 feet, along with the Kia mountain parrots.
February 16	No Speaker	• Valentine's Lunch. Bring your "Special Friend" as your guest.
February 23	Heidi Franklin	• The Pebble Mine dangers and hopes.

February 2	• We will be welcoming our new member Walter Liedke. • Bring "Canned Goods Donation" for Food Bank to our meeting. If you forget, be prepared to make a $1.00 donation to the Food Bank.
February 10	• Thirtd cabinet Meeting, Palmer at Moose Club.
February 15	• Zone Meeting at Anchorage Senior Center at Noon on Thursday, 1300 E 19th Avenue.
February 17	• Miners and Trappers Ball. Chairman Neal Haglund needs help from Club members. He will bring a sign-up sheet to our Friday lunch membership meetings prior to the activity. • We will be assisting latinos Lions Club with the food distribution at 10:00 AM until 1:00PM at the Hispanic Cultural Center, 4233 Mt. View Drive.
February 19	• Joint Sight Meeting.
February 26	• Anchorage Lions Board Meeting at 5:30 PM at the Westmark Hotel.

We will have a Lons Cabinet meeting during February that will be announced at a Friday lunch membership meeting
