Kevin Tripp |
Kevin Tripp is the Senior Archivist with the Alaska Movie Image Preservation Association (AMIPA), which is located at the UAA/APU Consortium Library. He will be speaking about archiving movie media such as 8 and 16 mm film as well as sharing a few clips from the archive. AMIPA will gladly accept historic Alaskan films for the archive and prepare copies for the donators on DVD. Should be an interesting program. |

Lion Bjarne Holm and his wife Robin will present a power point view of their recent trip to New Zealand, a land that combines Alaska and Hawaii in one. |

Steve Lesko |
Steve Lesko, executive director of Hope Community Resources, will discuss their expanding services to Russia, and their impact on other Alaska communities. Mr. Lesko has worked in the special education, psychoeducation, and learning disabilities fields, as an administrator, professor, and consultant. He has been with Hope Cottages for over 25 years. |
