July 27	Emma Walton	• Emma Walton, former National Science Foundation Program Director, and currently an education consultant will speak about NASA's Education Mission.

July 6	• Canned Goods Collection for Food Bank. Bring canned goods to lunch meeting. If you forget, be prepared to make a $1.00 donation to the Food Bank of Alaska.
July 7	• We will be stationed at checkpoint #2 to help cyclists riding in the Fireweed 400
July 15	• Anchorage Lions Club Potlatch / Picnic at the cabin of Bob and Millie Renkert along the shore of Rocky Lake, near Big Lake. Time TBA. Link to Directions.
July 16	• Anchorage Lions Club Board Meeting, Westmark Hotel 5:30 PM.
July 19	• The First Lion Club Zone meeting is scheduled for 7:30 P.M., July 19th, Thursday Evening at the Latinos Lions (Hispanic Cultural Center).
July 20, 21, 22	• We will be helping at different checkpoints in the Alaska Ride for Life bicycle fund raising effort to eliminate mortality from colorectal cancer in Alaska.
July 21	• Food Distribution Joint Project with Latinos Lions Club 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Hispanic Cultural Center 4233 Mt. View Drive.
