Vern Giedl, the Chief Engineer from KABATA will present an update on the effort to build the Knik Arm Bridge Crossing. The Alaska Legislature created the Knik Arm Bridge & Toll Authority (KABATA) in 2003 to build and operate a bridge. KABATA has the authority to sell revenue bonds, establish user fees to fund and operate the project, and enter into partnerships with the private sector.
