Hilary is with Alaska Rural Water Association. Rescheduled from last month.

Walt will show off the PET, or Personal Energy Transportation Vehicle, a human powered vehicle made available by Lions Clubs International.

June 27

Golf Tournament

This is the day of the Don Fridley Golf Classic. Join in with the effort. This is our big project of the year. We will have lunch on the green after the event.

• Canned Goods Collection for Food Bank. Bring canned goods to lunch meeting. If you forget, be prepared to make a $1.00 donation to the Food Bank of Alaska.

June 12

• Installation Banquet - new officers.6:00 PM - 6:30 PM Social Hour. Dinner 6:30 PM until 10:00 PM, Lake Spenard Room, New Mellennium, 4800 Spenard Road.

June 16

• Anchorage Lions Board Meeting has been moved to the June 23, in the office of Bob Hoekzema.

June 21

• Food Distribution Joint Project with Latinos Lions Club 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Hispanic Cultural Center 4233 Mt. View Drive.

June 23

• Anchorage Lions Club Board Meeting, 5:30 PM. This meeting will be held at Bob Hoekzema's office at the Alaska Miners Assocaition, 3305 Arctic Boulevard.

June 27

• Don Fridley Golf Classic, a benefit for the Covenant House. Hill Course, Army Moose Run Golf course. 7AM until Noon. (prep starts at 6AM). Format: Full Shotgun, Best Ball Tournament with Four Player Teams. More Information
