The Anchorage Lions Club...

The Anchorage Lions Club was Formed in June of 1944, and has served the Anchorage community in a variety of ways:

• Alaska Ride for Life.

• Covenant House / Don Fridley Golf Tournament.

• Fireweed 400

• Joint Sight Donations.

• Melvin Jones Fellowship.

• Salvation Army Bell Ringing.

• Sight First II

• Street Clean-Up in the Spring and Fall.

• Vison Screening.

 

We join with other Lion Clubs for the following:

• Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

• Campabilities.

• Diabetes.

• Food Bank of Alaska.

• Great Pumpkin Festival.

• Habitat for Humanities.

• Joint Sight.

• Leader Dog.

• Melvin Jones Fellowship.

• Miners & Trappers Ball.

• Personal Energy transportation - PET.

• Salvation Army Bell Ringing.
